The THIN MOTION (TM) 30mm has a diameter of 4.5 meters and a height of only 30 mm. This makes this model one of the thinnest car turntables in the world, only our own 25 mm version is even thinner. This 30 mm model was developed as an affordable alternative to our premium line. Thanks to the simpler construction and a slightly lower finish level, we can offer a price that is unmatched in Europe: only €12,500, while competing discs in this thickness class are well above €25,000. In terms of finish level, you should think of, for example, visible screw heads on the top plate. Of course, the top plate of the turntable can simply be covered with carpet so that you can barely see the low dome heads. Despite the compact design, the model still delivers solid performance, so that it can in principle be fully deployed by any car business. It has a load capacity of 2800 kg and rotates a full rotation in just 2 minutes. The ultra-thin 25 mm version rotates faster (85 seconds), carries more (3500 kg) and of course looks just a bit nicer. Yet this 30 mm thick turntable is a perfect solution if you want the conveniences of a turntable but don’t want to invest too much in it. This turntable even has a fast payback time with a low number of cars!

4.5 meter car turntable

This turntable has a diameter of 4.5 meters and a load capacity of 2800 kg. Therefore it is very suitable for passenger cars. For larger commercial vehicles, the wheelbase is often too long for this size. If you regularly photograph larger vans or commercial vehicles, we recommend a larger model.

Large passenger cars do fit without problems. Think for example of a Mercedes V-class. You can photograph those kinds of vehicles on this disc without difficulty.

We supply this model as a sharply priced construction kit. The parts are compact and smartly packaged, so shipping to both domestic and foreign destinations is no problem at all. No welding work is required for assembly. If you are handy enough to assemble a technical construction kit or for example Lego Technic, then you can also build this turntable yourself. Please note that the parts are heavy, the heaviest part weighs just over 50kg.

The turntable is delivered standard on a pallet. This weighs approximately 1000kg. We can, for an additional charge, unload with Crane truck if there is no forklift at the unloading location.

Rob's story

In 2025 I developed this turntable as a response to the growing demand for an affordable "turntable solution" without the annoying drive-up edges that you see with many other turntables. As a manufacturer of car turntables, we focused in recent years mainly on the higher price segment. That worked well, but I noticed that many SME car businesses simply could not free up budget for a premium turntable. In 2024 I developed the thinnest car turntable in the world. That model is now sold throughout Europe and far beyond. The downside is that the price remained a barrier for some entrepreneurs. We regularly received enthusiastic responses, but also many rejections because the product was above their budget. That's why I started looking for an alternative that retains the main advantages of our high-end models (or comes close to them), but in a simplified and affordable version. The result is this 4.5 meter and 30 mm thin turntable. It rotates on the same technology as our ultra-thin version, but we use different materials, a simpler motor unit and a lower finish level. These choices have made it possible to build a turntable that is technically reliable, but at a price that is accessible to a much larger group of entrepreneurs.
