At Bart van Aaken Automotive in Hilvarenbeek everything revolves around speed, service and presentation. With his own team of mechanics, Bart handles the complete sales himself. To capture his online inventory faster and easier, he chose a turntable in the new extension of his business premises.
The challenge
During the expansion of the premises, Bart wanted to take into account a future-proof photo studio. The goal: photograph vehicles faster without disrupting the workflow of the workshop. The space had underfloor heating, which made a standard built-in disc not ideal.
The solution
We installed a 5-meter THIN MOTION™ turntable, only 25 mm thin and fully underfloor heating-compatible. Thanks to the ultra-thin design, the disc could be placed directly on the existing floor, simply without demolition work or further adjustments. The disc is equipped with bluetooth so taking photos is simple and automatic via the smartphone. So during photography you can safely do other things, when you come back the disc is stationary and the car has been photographed all around
The result
The new photo room makes photographing cars more efficient than ever. Visitors are amazed at how neatly the turntable fits in the space, some think it is recessed into the floor, while it simply lies on top of it. That’s how thin the turntable is!
