Car Selections
5 cm turntable with round wall
At Car Selections we installed a 5 cm thick turntable in combination with a round photo wall.
The request was to create a complete photo studio inside the existing workshop, without any modifications to the floor. A traditional built-in version was not possible, so the choice was made for our surface model with an extremely low construction height.
The turntable was placed directly on the existing concrete floor. Despite the low profile, the entry angle remains minimal, so cars can easily drive on and off. The black finishing edge provides a neat transition between the floor and the turntable, while the dark carpet forms a calm base for photography.
Operation is done via our FotoProto console, which allows the turntable to rotate automatically and stop at fixed positions. In combination with the round white wall, this creates an even background and consistent lighting, essential for high-quality 360° product photos.
The result is a professional yet compact photo studio, fully integrated into the existing space, with no structural modifications needed.
The FotoProto console forms the heart of the photo studio. From the touchscreen, the turntable for cars is started, stopped and positioned. The console communicates directly with the camera and ensures that every photo is taken at exactly the same moment and from the same angle.
The system works fully automatically, the turntable rotates, stops at fixed positions and triggers the camera. This creates a perfect 360° series without manual intervention. The interface has been kept simple, with large buttons and clear feedback so anyone can work with it immediately.
The FotoProto console therefore combines the control of the turntable and the photography in one system. Compact, reliable and designed for daily use in the studio.
Touchscreen control
The FotoProto Console connects the camera to the turntable for cars. This setup allows you to take photos automatically without having to stay near the car turntable.
