Photo studio and turntable solution for compact and pre-owned vehicles
At Ligier Store Doesburg (Doesburg, the Netherlands), the owner, Paul de Vries, recognised the growing need for professional vehicle presentation, also for smaller city cars and pre-owned vehicles. As his range expanded, the studio and photography environment needed to grow along with it.
The challenge
They initially worked with a 3 meter turntable for smaller models. As the range grew and the demand for high quality photos increased, the need arose for a larger and more versatile solution. The space had to be modular, quickly deployable, visually clean and suitable for photography from multiple angles.
The solution
We installed a THIN MOTION™ turntable for cars with a 5 meter diameter, but with an ultra thin construction height, the thinnest in the world, only 25 mm thick, perfectly suited to the layout of the space. The turntable is equipped with a Bluetooth connection in which the smartphone activates the camera and controls the rotation and photo program. This allows the photographer or marketing employee to start immediately without any extra steps.
The result
The upgrade results in a future-proof, professional photo studio that:
- is large enough for full-size vehicles and stills/360° images,
- requires minimal build height and floor work,
- is connected to the smartphone workflow, increasing speed and consistency,
