PCC Lommel – Turntable as an efficient start of a new beginning

At PCC in Lommel, professionalism is central. After a devastating fire at the beginning of 2025, in which the entire building including stock was lost, they decided to make the new building future-proof right away, with a modern photo studio and an ultra-thin turntable as the centerpiece.

The challenge

Previously, cars were positioned manually for photography. That took time and made it difficult to get the cars consistently in the picture. In the new showroom they wanted a system that works faster, more accurately and more quietly, so also without squeaking tires while turning on the concrete floor, fully matching their focus on the luxury segment.

The solution

We installed a 5-meter THIN MOTION™ turntable, only 25 mm thick, recessed into a podium of 25 mm moisture-resistant MDF. The floor was raised and milled exactly to the diameter of the turntable so the disc could be fully integrated. Thanks to the Bluetooth control, vehicles can now be photographed semi-automatically, without manual turning. The motor unit controls the smartphone and after a photo or video session the turntable stops automatically.
