Peugeot Louagie – Photo studio next to the showroom in Knokke-Heist
At Peugeot Louagie in Knokke-Heist, the wish arose to photograph cars professionally without disturbing the daily showroom traffic. The owner seized the opportunity when the adjacent building became available, the perfect moment to turn it into a fully equipped photo studio.
The challenge
Previously, the vehicles were manually moved inside the showroom to take photos. This caused significant time loss and squeaking tyre noise, and it was difficult to maintain consistent image quality.
The solution
In the new space, we installed a THIN MOTION™ turntable for cars with a diameter of 5 meters and only 5 cm thickness, equipped with a drive-up edge and FotoProto electronics for automatic camera control. Thanks to this technology, the photographer can start the entire rotation process and photo series with a single tap on the screen.
The studio is built in a relatively simple way. It uses the original industrial floor, a tension wall as the background, and the turntable is placed directly on the existing floor. This allows you to achieve a great result with a relatively low investment.
The result
The new photo studio makes it possible to photograph cars extremely quickly and silently, away from the hustle of the showroom. The images are consistent, professional and ready for online publication within minutes.
