Pluscars Dendermonde – Turntable as aid in the search for efficiency
At Pluscars in Dendermonde everything revolves around quality, speed and efficiency. With over a thousand cars per year, manual photography became too time-consuming and the costs for a full-time photographer were too high. That’s why they chose a fully automated solution with an integrated turntable.
The challenge
The existing floor was not level, our thin turntable has many advantages but must be placed on a flat and stable surface. For a properly functioning system, a stable and level surface had to be created first. In addition, Pluscars was looking for a solution that was both user-friendly and future-proof.
The solution
We installed a 5-meter THIN MOTION™ turntable, fully integrated into the floor. The surface has been completely leveled and reinforced for optimal stability. With the Bluetooth photography solution, cars can now be photographed quickly, automatically and consistently, without manual operation. Apart from the interior photos, the photography process is therefore automatic while the detailer performs his other tasks in the adjacent room.
The result
The photo studio at Pluscars now works with an automated system that replaces the photographer. Cars are perfectly rotated within minutes and simultaneously photographed all around. This saves them a lot of time daily. A smart investment that directly contributes to lower personnel costs and a professional, consistent presentation of their inventory.
