Turntable software

Turntable control

Remote control or something more?

Our turntables are supplied as standard with a remote control — a simple control with "on" and "off" buttons. On the motor unit, you can set the rotation direction and speed. For basic applications, this is sufficient, but if you want to use the turntable for photography, it is probably useful to create a software connection.

We have developed several control options. We can connect to a real camera, whether a system camera or DSLR. In addition, it is also possible to take photos with your smartphone via a Bluetooth connection.

Of course, there are apps that allow you to streamline car photography directly from your mobile phone. We can connect with those as well!

Software options

Bluetooth

With the Bluetooth upgrade, you can automatically take photos with your smartphone. This feature is compatible with both Android and iOS operating systems. No additional app is required — you simply use the standard camera app on your smartphone.

Depending on the settings, the turntable will take photos or a video of the rotation. This allows you to photograph automatically, and the turntable will stop automatically once the car has completed a full rotation.

Camera connection

Do you want high quality and prefer to take photos with a system camera or DSLR? That’s possible too. We have developed a special system that allows you to control the camera via touchscreen. The touchscreen is connected to your camera and ensures the car is photographed all around. This system is slightly slower than the Bluetooth option but delivers excellent photos, and you are not dependent on your smartphone.

Push-button control

With push-button control, the turntable is operated both via software and "hardwired". By hardwired, we mean that the turntable is controlled through wired connections. Cables run from the control panel to the motor unit. This system is less sensitive to interference when there are many signals present, such as WiFi, home automation, or other wireless signals. The push-button control can also be used in combination with other control options.
